I created this solution to specifically address the need for a quicker, more intuitive spool deployment when under pressure and with impeded visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Safety-Spool-Speed-of-Deployment\"><\/span>Safety Spool: Speed of Deployment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Speed is important during those protocols and pulling off the bungee retainer takes a second. It requires much less tactile feeling in the fingers or coordination with the hands.
