However, one criticism that I had was that it didn&#8217;t offer bungee mounting. I have always much prefered to mount my diving instruments on my forearms using bungees, rather than with straps on the wrists. I needed Shearwater Petrel bungees, so the only option was a DIY project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, I spent some time experimenting with different methods to improvise bungees into the <a href=\"https:\/\/scubatechphilippines.com\/scuba_blog\/best-technical-diving-computer-2023\/#-Shearwater-Petrel-3\">Shearwater Petrel<\/a>. four times through the strap slot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allow enough bungee loop to be a comfortable fit around your forearm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wrap the bungee four times around the opposite strap slot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finish the bungee with a second overhand knot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat for the other side of the Petrel, to create two bungee straps.<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva; I have found that beneficial as a <a href=\"https:\/\/scubatechphilippines.com\/scuba_blog\/sidemount-diving-techniques\/\">sidemount<\/a> diver. Especially when needing to move my <a href=\"https:\/\/scubatechphilippines.com\/scuba_blog\/choosing-sidemount-cylinder-boltsnaps\/\">cylinder boltsnaps<\/a> during dives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diving computer bungee mounts can be quickly and easily adjusted as needed.
