Technical Wreck Training in Subic Bay, Philippines
About My Technical Wreck Training
My unique Technical Wreck training takes you beyond the light zone and through restrictions. The course is an entirely overhead environment focused and not about doing decompression dives on wrecks… which you’re already qualified to do as a tech diver.
My technical wreck training is well-suited to tech divers who already hold basic wreck penetration certifications. Training can be provided in sidemount and backmount configurations.
What are the Technical Wreck training prerequisites?
- Advanced Wreck Diver or equivalent (recreational limit penetration)
- Technical Diver certification (Deco40 and above)
- 18 years of age
- Robust fundamental diving skills: preparatory training is available, when necessary
What certification is issued after technical wreck training?
As this is my exclusive course, I issue a bespoke certification listing the limits you have trained to reach. You will be recognized as an exemplary wreck penetration diver, with a skillset to meet the demands of challenging tech wreck dives.
What is the Technical Wreck training schedule?
My exclusive and uncompromising training is 4 days in duration and includes 4 intensive technical wreck penetration dives.

What skills do you learn for Technical Wreck penetration?
Progressing beyond the Advanced Wreck diver level, tech divers need a more robust skillset if they are penetrating wrecks beyond the light zone, passing restrictions, and committing to decompression stop ascents.
My technical wreck training focuses on the capability to function effectively in zero-viz conditions, whilst introducing specialist techniques for passing restrictions, using stage cylinders, line marking, touch communication, and dealing with emergencies under worst-case scenarios.
You will spend much of your dives wearing a black mask on this course.
